ABOUT US!
The Treblemakers are the oldest all-women's a cappella group in College Park.
We are a group of dedicated, talented, and incredibly hardworking women. Our unbreakable bond is rooted in love, trust, respect, and an unwavering support for one another. The sisterhood aspect of our a cappella group will always be of the utmost importance to us, and we are constantly striving to empower and uplift each and every member of our group.
Our group was founded in 1989 as an all-women's counterpart to our brother group, The Generics. Today, we are proud to continue this legacy and continue growing into a body of strong, diverse women.
We work extremely hard to perform music of the highest quality each semester. We rehearse three times a week in preparation for shows, gigs, and competitions. Our music means so much to us because the time and feeling we pour into every arrangement and performance. This year we are releasing our music differently due to COVID-19; click below for more information about our virtual releases.
In our 32 years as a group, we have competed in an array of competitions, recorded multiple albums, but most importantly, created a network of strong, talented women who are united by their love of singing. Find more information on our latest album, Currents, below.
